Petite Forte is a community located in Placentia Bay. Located on the Burin Peninsula which is on the southeast coast of the island of Newfoundland. It fought attempts by the government in the 1960s to resettle. There is a ferry from Petit fort that goes to South East Bight. The drive is picturesque, with scenic views, and winding roads.
